This policy explains what information GetTheAmount collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. GetTheAmount is built to be used without an account — the calculators themselves run in your browser and don't require submitting personal information to get a result.

Information we collect

Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form or email us directly, we collect whatever information you choose to include (typically your email address and message content) solely to respond to your inquiry.

Analytics. We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are useful and where visitors run into problems, aggregated at the page level rather than tracking individuals across the web.

Payment information. If you purchase the Project Planner Pack or make a donation, payment is processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that data under its own privacy and security practices.

Cookies. We use only the minimal cookies necessary for the site to function and for anonymized analytics; we do not use cookies for cross-site ad tracking.

How we use information

Contact form data is used only to respond to your message. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the site's content and usability. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the site: a hosting/CDN provider, an analytics provider, Stripe for payment processing, and a form-handling service for the contact form. Each operates under its own privacy policy governing the data it processes on our behalf.

Your choices

You can use most of GetTheAmount without providing any personal information at all. If you've contacted us and want your message data deleted, email contact@gettheamount.com and we'll remove it.

Children's privacy

GetTheAmount is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page with a revised effective date. We encourage checking back periodically if you have concerns about how your information is handled.
